Thunderous new Belfast based Melodic Hard Rockers Stormzone have confirmed the release of their stonking third studio album, ‘Zero To Rage’, packed with 12 awesome, hard rocking, melodic Metal songs, on November 21st on SPV Steamhammer Records.

Stormzone, who were formed in 2005 by ex – Sweet Savage, Fastway, Emerald and Den Of Thieves vocalist Harv (John Harbinson), released their debut album ‘Caught In The Act’, on UK rock label Escape Music in 2007. An accomplished hard rock record, reminiscent of 80’s melodic hard rock with AOR traces, ‘Caught In The Act’ won Stormzone a bunch of rave reviews and led to major support slots around Europe over the next two years with the likes of Y&T, White Lion, Tesla, George Lynch and LA Guns. Stormzone also won prestigious slots on the stages of European festivals such as Sweden Rock, Lorca Festival (Spain), Raisemesfest (France), Zrock (UK) and Firefest (UK).

‘Caught In The Act’ so impressed renowned 80’s NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) DJ / producer Neal Kay, who was the first to champion Iron Maiden in their early days, that he went into the studio with Stormzone to co-produce the band’s second album, ‘Death Dealer’ in the latter part of 2009. Drummer Davy Bates then sent the recordings to Jess Cox, original Tygers Of Pan Tang vocalist and former owner of the seminal Neat Records label, who was so impressed that he offered to manage the band immediately and shortly after licensed ‘Death Dealer’ to SPV / Steamhammer in Germany, who released it in April 2010.

In 2010 the band shared stages with Stryper and Cinderella and then won over the huge crowds at the Headbangers Open Air and German Wacken Festivals in 2011, in between recording ‘Zero To Rage’ during the spring and summer of this year.

John “Harv” Harbinson states that 'Apart from being a singer of heavy metal music for many years, I have also always been a huge fan of heavy metal, and I have no hesitation in saying that the new Stormzone album, 'Zero to Rage' is something that as a singer I am immensely proud of and as a fan I would definitely go out and buy!'

Neal Kay states that “This is the CD & the band that I have been awaiting for 30 plus years!!!, A righteous storm force of an album crafted with loving care and true class, linking their classic roots & celtic heritage with the present, the old to the new, the songs leave me in no doubt as to the future possibilities of this great outfit. Displaying awesome guts, delivery and sheer ability, the band’s power, spirit, determination, grit and total will to succeed at all costs is only bested by the song-writing brilliance here on display! If the true spirit and fire of rock burns brightly again then it’s name surely is Stormzone and the CD is 'Zero To Rage'.!!!!!

Thunderous new Belfast based Melodic Hard Rockers Stormzone have signed to SPV Steamhammer Records, who will release the band's second studio album, 'Death Dealer', co-produced with legendary NWOBHM DJ Neal Kay, on April 26th.

Stormzone, who were formed in 2005 by ex Sweet Savage, Fastway, Emerald and Den Of Thieves vocalist Harv (John Harbinson), released their debut album 'Caught In The Act', on UK rock label Escape Music in 2007.

An accomplished hard rock record, reminiscent of 80's melodic hard rock with AOR traces, 'Caught In The Act' won Stormzone a bunch of rave reviews and led to major support slots around Europe over the next two years with the likes of Y&T, White Lion, Tesla, George Lynch and LA Guns. Stormzone also won prestigious slots on the stages of European festivals such as Sweden Rock, Lorca Festival (Spain), Raisemesfest (France), Zrock (UK) and Firefest (UK).

'Caught In The Act' so impressed renowned 80's NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) DJ / producer Neal Kay, who was the first to champion Iron Maiden in their early days, that he went into the studio with Stormzone to co-produce 'Death Dealer' in the latter part of 2009.

Drummer Davy Bates then sent the recordings to Jess Cox, original Tygers Of Pan Tang vocalist and former owner of the seminal Neat Records label, who was so impressed that he offered to manage the band immediately and shortly after licensed the new album to SPV / Steamhammer in Germany.

Now 'Death Dealer', a gloriously retro, balls-to-the-wall, superb hard rock album, recorded straight after the band had spent two years honing and hardening their sound down on the road, is all set to catapult Stormzone into the rock world's heady stratosphere.
