All four members of Radio Dead Ones were born back in the early eighties behind the iron curtain in East Germany, when and where nobody could imagine these young trouble makers would ever have the chance to form a rabble rousing punk rock band. As soon as they turned 18, brothers Beverly (vocals) and Rik (guitar and b/vocals), and their friends Ändru (bass) and TV Mörk (drums) moved to the dirty side of Berlin in 2002 to start their punk rock mission.

To be honest, the temptations of the big city lights, beers, booze and drugs blurred the group’s vision at first, but by 2005 Radio Dead Ones had won a hard fought reputation for being an outrageous live band, blowing audiences away wherever they played.

In response to their audience’s demand, Radio Dead Ones recorded their debut, self-released 7 inch single, ‘Out Of Tune’, at their own RDO Drinking Room studios in 2005, played loads of live shows locally, released several more 7 inch singles and soon became one of Berlin’s best kept Punk Rock secrets.

Radio Dead Ones’ first full length, self-titled album, packed with raw, tough sounding songs, hit the streets in 2008 to much acclaim from both media and fans, and the band hit the road, headlining a club tour of Germany. Radio Dead Ones subsequently won support slots on European tours with likes of The Backyard Babies, Dropkick Murphys, US Bombs, Mad Sin, Die Toten Hosen and Agnostic Front and have built a massive live following on the continent.

Now ‘AAA’, a captivating collection of future punk rock classics, is all set to blast Radio Dead Ones straight to the forefront of the new wave of European Punk Rock bursting out of the underground.
