Swedish five piece Melodic Metal band FULLFORCE, a group of highly experienced top quality musicians who formed in 2009, are set to release their second studio album, ‘Next Level’, on Steamhammer / SPV on October 29th.

FULLFORCE, a breath of fresh air in the current melodic metal movement, grab their traditional heavy metal and hard rock influences by the throat and bring them bang up to date. Inspired by the likes of Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen, Black Sabbath, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and Queensryche, FULLFORCE create totally modern metal with a vintage feel.

Following on from the band’s acclaimed debut album, ‘One’, released in July 2011 on SPV, ‘Next Level’ really does do what it says on the tin, and ups the stakes in no uncertain terms. Superb new guitarist Stefan Rosqvist, who replaced CJ Grimmark earlier this year, has helped FULLFORCE to majorly leap up a level with his glorious guitar licks on uplifting tracks such as the bombastic ‘A Night To Remember’ the acoustic guitar led ‘Smile At The World’, or the striding, soaring ‘Awesomeness’.

Powerplay awarded ‘One’ 7/10, stating “Considering the band members – Cloudscape vocalist Mike Andersson, and current and ex-Hammerfall members amongst others – Fullforce’s sound of fast guitars, synths and a bit of a pop-sheen was really inevitable before the band put anything together. However, these musicians are all pros within their element and it shows. “None Of Your Concern”, with its hallowing synths and thundering guitars is unusually catchy and “Walls Of Secrets” toes the line between devilishly heavy and early Helloween worship… “One” is a capably crafted record of melodic metal. If you’re a fan of the bands that Fullforce’s members comprise, you’ll easily get a kick out of it... It’s rather good.” (August 2011 issue).

Metal Hammer stated that “One is shot through with tasteful, melodious guitar work, strong, earnest vocals and noddable hooks, and there is more of an emotive pull to the material than most muso Swede-pomp.” (September 2011 issue).

Now ‘Next Level’, packed with 13 melodic rock gems of compositions boasting crystal clear emotive vocals, catchy choruses, superlative dual guitar duelling, and hard driving drums, is set to fire Fullforce into the upper echelons of hard rock’s heady stratosphere.
